As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2025 we are highlighting some incredible apprentices on Celebration Friday.
Cody Dillon- Customer Service Apprentice at Park Electrical
Cody knew that college wasn’t for her- she wanted to work and gain experience straight away. After applying for customer service roles she found her place at Park Electrical, where she’s been helping to build a new part of the business.
With her apprenticeship completed she gained a distinction! She credits her face to face tutor sessions as one of the best parts of her experience, helping her to truly understand her coursework.
She’s hoping to stay on as a Project Coordinator- an exciting step in her new career.
Fantastic job Cody!
Thomas Bassnett- Trade Supplier Apprentice at Edmundson Electrical
Thomas has made a real impact at Edmundson's, earning a distinction in his apprenticeship and securing a full time role with the branch. His customer service skills and ability to build rapport with regular customers have made him a valued member of the team.
His journey wasn’t without challenges- on day one, he had an unfortunate accident in the warehouse, leading to a six-hour trip to A&E! But since then he’s come a long way, proving his dedication and excelling in his role.
Both Cody and Thomas are fantastic examples of how apprenticeships can shape successful careers, are we’re excited to see what the future holds for them!
