At The Apprenticeship Training Agency, we take great pride in seeing our apprentices develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve fantastic milestones throughout their training. Over the past few months, several of our apprentices have reached impressive goals, excelling in coursework and receiving special recognition from their training providers.
These stories showcase the dedication, perseverance, and positive attitude our apprentices bring to their roles every day.
Celebrating Our Apprentices' Achievements
We believe that every achievement deserves recognition. Each success story is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our apprentices. They inspire us and show what is possible when you put your mind to it!
Apprentice of the Month Nomination – Eathan Fogg, Electric Center, Sunderland
We’re thrilled to share that Eathan has been nominated for Apprentice of the Month by Learning Skills Partnership, his training provider. This is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and progress!
Comments from Eathan's Training Provider:
“Eathan began his Trade Supplier apprenticeship in April this year. At first, he found it challenging to complete his work and organise his coursework. However, over the past few months, he has made significant progress. This was shown today when he achieved 29/30 marks on his first mock test—an outstanding result!
Eathan has a great personality and enjoys sharing a joke. He turns 18 this month and already shows strong potential in customer service and supporting the business. Although he previously had several overdue tasks, he is now fully up to date and back on track. His manager, Tony, describes him as someone who works well both independently and as part of a team. He picks things up quickly, has a positive attitude, and builds good relationships with everyone he meets.
Eathan continues to develop his product knowledge and confidence on the trade counter. He is also particularly strong in professional discussions, he can talk for England! I would like Eathan to be recognised for the effort he has put into getting his coursework and portfolio up to date and for the progress he is making in his apprenticeship.”
Comments from Tony Holder, Eathan's Manager:
“Eathan is becoming a great addition to our team. He has grasped the importance of customer care and service; he is single-handedly running our stores now for both goods in and goods out. He grasps things very quickly, and you usually only have to show him once. He is keen to keep learning and developing, and he is very eager to work on the trade counter. He doesn’t shy away from trying to serve customers even with limited product knowledge.
Eathan is a real character with a great personality and is good to have around the place. He is great with people of any age, which is sometimes difficult to find in a 17-year-old. I think now Eathan realises the importance of the college work and has proved himself by receiving good marks and praise. His attendance and timekeeping are spot on.”
Well done, Eathan! Your commitment and enthusiasm are inspiring, and we’re excited to see your continued progress and success in your apprenticeship journey.
Distinction Success – Madison Davies, Midshires Electrical, Northampton
We’re also thrilled to celebrate the achievements of Madison, who has successfully completed nine EDA (Electrical Distributors’ Association) Product Knowledge modules all at Distinction level! What makes this even more impressive is that Madison has achieved these top results alongside her apprenticeship course and day-to-day work responsibilities. Balancing coursework, practical experience, and additional study is no easy task, but she’s approached it with determination and focus.
The EDA modules are designed to develop a deep understanding of the electrical wholesale industry, covering areas such as product knowledge, customer service, and technical standards. Completing all nine with Distinction is a fantastic accomplishment and she’s not stopping there! Her goal? To complete all 12 EDA modules and maintain that Distinction standard across every single one. This is a clear sign of her ambition and commitment to excellence.
Comments from Craig Rose, Madison’s Manager:
"Since Madison joined us, she has been a breath of fresh air with her attitude and work ethic. She has adapted to each area with ease and has led the way with her EDA Modules, completing all so far with Distinctions. She has a very bright future ahead of her!”
Congratulations, Madison! Your determination and consistent high performance make you a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
The Value of Apprenticeships
Stories like these highlight exactly what makes apprenticeships so valuable. The opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve while contributing meaningfully in the workplace. A huge well done to Eathan, Madison, and all our apprentices for their fantastic progress over the past few months. Your achievements make us incredibly proud and inspire others who are just starting their apprenticeship journeys.
