We're thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Amie Walker at Edmundson Electrical, Northampton who has officially passed her Trade Supplier Apprenticeship with a distinction, including an incredible 100% score in her knowledge test. This is a milestone worth shouting about and we couldn't be prouder.

A Surprising but Well-Deserved Result

When the results came through, the achievement even took her by surprise.

“I was a bit surprised! After the test I phoned Lucie (my tutor) and said I wasn’t really sure how that went. When Lucie told me the result a few days later, I thought she was lying!”

Despite her doubts, her hard work and dedication clearly spoke for themselves.

Achievements Beyond the Test

While her result is impressive, she’s equally proud of how far she’s come during her apprenticeship.

What has been your biggest achievement whilst on the apprenticeship?

“The amount of progression. I moved into internal sales three months ago and have enjoyed the fast-paced environment. I’ve learnt so much in such a short time.”

This step into internal sales has sparked new confidence, new skills, and a real passion for the role.

Colleagues Who Made the Journey Even Better

Supportive colleagues can make all the difference, and she’s quick to recognise those who’ve been there every step of the way.

“Lee is in Sales Development and has been a huge help. I started my apprenticeship at the same time as Alfie and we have travelled through the apprenticeship together.”

And of course, a well-deserved shout-out goes to her manager:

“A huge shout out to James Rae, my manager.”

Looking Ahead: Big Aspirations and Bright Futures

Her ambition doesn’t stop here. With a clear vision for her career path, she’s excited for what’s next.

“To stay in internal sales, then progress to external sales rep, then possibly key account manager or branch manager!”

With her drive and work ethic, we have no doubt she’ll achieve every goal she sets.

Best Part of Apprenticeship Life

When asked what she enjoyed most, the answer was immediate:

“My coworkers and having fun. Incredibly supportive and helpful… having good coworkers really helps progression.”

A positive team can transform the whole experience and hers certainly did.

A Year to Remember

Looking back on the journey, she sums it up perfectly:

“Incredible fun and it has flown by!”

Congratulations again to Amie on her exceptional performance, her progression, and her inspiring commitment. We’re excited to see where her talent and determination take her next!
